Information Regarding Shipping and USPS Postal Rate Increases

Hi there, Everyone!

I'm stopping by to let you know that we've just adjusted our shipping rates to reflect the changes the Postal Service made to their 2016 rates which went into effect January, 16th 2016.

Here are our shipping rates as they're outlined on our website currently:

All orders are shipped via USPS unless otherwise noted. Orders are typically mailed within 3-5 business days of receipt with most orders processed in 2-3 business days or sooner. Turnaround may be slightly delayed around the time of a new release when order volume is typically higher.

  • Canada $23.75
  • United Kingdom $29.95
  • Australia $29.95
  • All other Countries & Territories $30.50

Here are the changes we've recently made:

The Real Time USPS Shipping Rates for First Class Shipping will continue to be dictated by the USPS at checkout. As of 1/16/2016 these rates will reflect the recent increases.

Our Flat Rate Priority Shipping to US customers has increased from $5.65 to $6.25. The Postal Service increased this flat rate by $.70 and we increased our price by $.60.

The largest increases to be seen with these changes are to USPS Priority International Flat Rate Envelopes. For Canada, our price has increased from $21.95 to $23.75. For the UK and Australia this price has increased from $26.50 to $29.95 and for all other countries and territories this rate has increased to $30.50. While these methods of shipping incurred the largest increases please do not forget that we continue to ship using First Class rates to all international countries as well as an option to select first class international with insurance in case of loss or damage.

In an effort to bring our customers outside of the US the best possible shipping rates, we are continuing to expand our international retailers so that our items are available through your favorite local stores and websites.

Thank you for understanding that these rate increases are necessary when our carrier's rates increase. Know that the decisions we make about shipping rates are taken very seriously and that I personally strive to keep these rates affordable and within reason being a consumer of crafty goodies myself.

Please let me know if you have any questions about our shipping policies or the changes we've recently implemented.

We'll return tomorrow with a fabulous new edition of our You Made It Monday AND you'll be starting to hear about our next release on January 27th very VERY soon with some sneak peeks.

Have a wonderful rest of your weekend,

  1. TOTALLY understand Laura!!!
Aussie postage has just increased too ... it has gone from 70 cents to post a letter for delivery within Australia to $1 AND they have increased the days it takes to be delivered too :( International postage has also increased.
I will keep an eye out for local distributors, I have to confess that the exchange rate is making it more and more challenging to place orders online.
